Verification of safe isolation from supply with the capacitive voltage detection system
Proceed as follows:
Ö Determine type of measuring system HR (= High Resistive System).
Ö Select suitable indicator ’HR-ST’.
Ö Verify perfect operation of indicator.
Ö Remove cover from test socket.
Ö Plug in the voltage indicator.
Ö Read indicator:
If the indicator flashes or lights up, the phase is energized.
If the indicator does not flash or light up, the phase is not energized.
Ö Remove indicator.
Ö Replace cover in test socket.
Ö Check the other phases in the same way.
