Winding in a star connection
The 1FE2☐☐☐-☐☐☐☐☐-☐☐☐1 motors are designed internally in a permanent star
connection. The electrical connection is made via 3 power cables: U1, V1, W1.

Winding with star-delta changeover
The 1FE2☐☐☐-☐☐☐☐☐-☐☐☐2 motors have two cables per phase (U1-U2, V1-V2, W1-W2).
A star/delta changeover takes place by means of an external contactor circuit or as a fixed
configuration in the terminal box.
