In this conguration, a switch is also required for the system network. All components are
connected using straight Ethernet cables.
In terms of address allocation and the settings that need to be made, this conguration
is identical to that of conguration 4. However, in this case, the DHCP server of the NCU
actually supplies the TCU with an IP address and serves as a boot server for the TCU.
The observations made for conguration 3 also apply here in relation to the connection to
the company network. The connection to a switch on the company network is made via a
straight Ethernet cable.
To connect one TCU to both HMI systems you must create an additional connection to the
NCU for the TCU, as described in the following chapter:
