Load cells with four-wire system
Do not shorten or length connecting cables in the four-wire system, because the cable resistance
is temperature compensated. When the length of the connecting cable is altered, the input and
output resistances change. This change can be corrected by adjusting the scale, but
temperature-dependent resistance changes are not compensated for the missing or additional
length of cable.
