Gasp Dial Battery, within the Gemini Power Supply Unit, is orientated correctly; the battery
terminal must be facing up. If the unit is to be mounted in such a way that the battery terminals
are not facing up then it is necessary to implement certain modifications to ensure that the battery
is not operating upside down. Please refer to document 667/HB/32600/000 for the necessary
modifications.
On those occasions when more than four Detector Cards are required, an 11” Swing Frame
should be specified. The ST750ELV can support up to a maximum of eight Detector Cards, and
therefore two Intelligent Detector Backplanes. To mount the Intelligent Detector Backplanes, the
11” Swing Frame must be provided with at least one 11” Detector Rack Kit. Please refer to
Figure 16 Figure 17,Figure 16

in Figure 18. Please note if a Gemini

unit is to be specified an additional 11” Rack Assembly kit
will be required and fitted in the secondary position, please refer to paragraphs 3.9. If a
Freestanding O.T.U is to be fitted the 11” Detector Rack Assembly Kit, containing the Detector
Cards should be fitted in the secondary position. Please refer to paragraph 3.9.
