3.1 Safety information
WARNING
Wetted parts unsuitable for the process media
Danger of injury or damage to device.
Hot, toxic and corrosive media could be released if the process medium is unsuitable for the
wetted parts.
• Ensure that the material of the device parts wetted by the process medium is suitable for the
medium. Refer to the information in "Technical data".
NOTICE
Incorrect mounting
The device can be damaged, destroyed, or its functionality impaired through improper
mounting.
• Before installing ensure there is no visible damage to the device.
• Make sure that process connectors are clean, and suitable gaskets and glands are used.
• Mount the device using suitable tools. Refer to the information in Technical speci󹪝cations
(Page51).
3.2 Installation location requirements
NOTICE
Direct sunlight
Damage to device.
The device can overheat or materials become brittle due to UV exposure.
• Protect the device from direct sunlight.
• Make sure that the maximum permissible ambient temperature is not exceeded. Refer to
the information in Technical speci󹪝cations (Page51).
