9. ADVANCED DEVICE AND IT SETUP
The system provides a number of advanced configuration options to enable an institution to setup and manage
the devices in their facility.
 Administrators can lock preferences with a password.
 Administrators can implement user management.
 Multiple devices can be setup with common preferences.
 Restrict ultrasound scanning and rest
rict viewing images during bladder scanning.
 Restrict recording of ultrasound data and bladder data.
 Restrict access to USB storage.
 Devices can be linked to a Google acc
ount to enable device tracking, remote alarms, and other
functions to reduce the likelihood of devices being lost.
Administrator Setup
 From the Home screen, tap and select Settings.
 Select Administration.
 Under Secu
rity, tap on Enable Administrator Password.
 Enter an administrator password. Ensure you rec
ord the password in a secure location and do not
forget or lose it.
As soon as an administrator password is se
tup, preferences and settings can only be changed by the
administrator.
Software Updates Restrictions
 From the Home screen, tap and select Settings
 Select Administration.
 Automatic Updates Check –
check to automatically check for software updates (updates are not
available in Japan).
 Allow USB Software Updates – check to allow installa
tion of software updates via USB.
