REPAIR
5. Using the crane, slowly lift the platform clear of the
machine.
Removing the Extension Platform
1. Remove the platform. Refer to Removing the
Platform, page 6-1.
2. Loosen the fasteners of all rails and remove the
rails.
3. Loosen the screws at the roller bracket #1 and roller
support 3# of extension platform, and remove the
roller bracket and support.
4. Loosen the screws at the roller bracket #4 and roller
support #2 of stationary platform, and remove the
roller bracket and support.
5. Raise the extension platform from both ends, and
remove the extension platform.

SCISSOR COMPONENTS
Scissor Assembly
NOTICE
Perform this procedure when the scissor is fully
retracted.
1. Remove the platform and extension platform. Refer
to Removing the Platform, page 6-1 and
Removing the Extension Platform, page 6-2.
2. Disconnect the hydraulic hoses and electrical wiring
connecting the scissor and the chassis.
NOTICE
Before re-installing the removed hoses and
fittings, check whether the seals on the hoses
and fittings are broken or missing; if any seal is
damaged or missing, replace the seal with a new
one, or replace the hose assembly and fittings
directly. When installing hoses and fittings,
tighten them according to the specified torque.
See Hydraulic Hose and Fitting Specifica-
tions, page 2-5.
3. Attach the scissor to a traveling scrane for support.
4. Remove the bolts securing the pivot pins.

5. Pull out the pivot pins using an auxiliary tool.
