15.7.2 Procedure when using an air only
1. Select fixed flow mode of 6 l/min.
2. Disconnect the air supply from
wall outlet. The SLE1000 should
display and sound the “NO AIR
SUPPLY” alarm.
3. Reconnect air supply, cancel the
alarm.
4. Set the SLE1000 to “Standby...”
mode.
15.7.3 Procedure when using an air compressor
1. Select a CPAP pressure of 12 mbar.
2. Turn off the compressor. The SLE1000 should display and sound the “NO AIR
SUPPLY” alarm.
Note: The user may have to wait for the pressure in the compressor
reservoir to drop, before the alarm is generated. As the pressure drops the
“Zero Pressure” alarm is generated as the pressure drops before the “No
Air Supply” alarm is generated.
3. Turn on the compressor. Occlude the watertrap outlet unit the internal valve
closes.
4. Set the SLE1000 to “Standby...” mode.
Functional testing is now complete.
