20.1 Messages
The user interface messages displayed on 20 character wide LCD.
User message Description Action
Airway pressure
bar graph (non-
scaled)
Indicates normal (technical and
patient) operation. Tolerable
underlying conditions have been
acknowledged by the user.
None
Audio Paused Indicates that user has activated the
alarm cancel or alarm ‘pre-mute’.
If alarm button is pressed while the
‘Alarm Paused’ message is displayed,
then normal ‘un-paused’ mode is
immediately resumed.
Resets any current alarm
condition.
Pauses alarm audio for 120
seconds or until button or is
pressed again.
Adjust Parameter Second stage of user interacting with
device, where the parameter is
adjusted.
Turning the dial will
increment/decrement the
parameter in focus.
Pressing the dial will confirm
selection. Times out and
reverts to original value after
3 sec of inaction.
Battery N% Display of the battery charge level in
percent
Clears itself after 10 sec.
Flow Mode Displayed to indicate that the user is
in flow mode
Present whilst delivering the
prescribed flow.
Pneumatic test Displayed during internal test Clear only when test has
passed.
Set Apnoea Time
Indicator that the Apnea Time can be
selected.
Clears itself after 5 sec.
If selected clears after 10
sec.
Set CPAP Level
Indicator that the CPAP Level can be
selected.
Clears itself after 5 sec.
If selected clears after 10
sec.
