The temperature of the hot end can be as high as 300 deg C. Make
sure that the hot end is cool before proceeding, or burns may
result.
Distribute the grease evenly.
Replace the hot end sleeve
Maintenance scenario
The hot end sleeve is a silicone sleeve that wraps around the heating block, which helps the
hot end maintain a stable temperature during printing and prevents the leakage of filaments
from contaminating the heating block.
Maintenance frequency
When the hot end sleeve has obvious damage or dirt that is difficult to remove.
Maintenance method
1. Prepare new hot end sleeves (provided, see tool box).
2. Turn off the printer and remove the power.
3. Make sure that the hot end has cooled to room temperature.
4. Remove the current hot end sleeve, then put the new hot end sleeve so that the logo is
facing the body side.
Check Nozzle Wiper Position
Maintenance scenario
When the extruder is homed, it will stay on the nozzle wiper, which can effectively prevent
the extruder in standby state from overflowing when printing. The nozzle wiper may deviate
from the standard position after long-term use or under external force, thus affecting the
printing effect. Therefore, its position needs to be checked regularly.
Maintenance frequency
Once every three months.
