Lenses that do not support DMF (with a focus mode
switch): Can be changed using the focus mode switch
on the lens.
Lenses that support DMF (with a focus mode switch):
Can be changed using the focus mode switch on the
lens. When the focus mode switch on the lens is set to
AF, you can change the focusing method by operating
the camera.
Other lenses (without a focus mode switch): Can be
changed by operating the camera.
Focus Mode
Single-shot AF/Continuous AF/DMF*
* Only available when using lenses that support Direct
Manual Focus.
Even if [Priority Set in AF-S] is set to
[Balanced Emphasis], it will temporarily switch to
[AF].
Even if [Priority Set in AF-C] is set to
[Balanced Emphasis], it will temporarily switch to
[Release].
