Maintenance and care
Routine maintenance to be performed by
the customer
For the protection of persons, the environment and
the equipment it is recommended to clean the centri-
fuge regularly and to disinfect it if necessary.
Unsuitable cleaning agents or disin-
fection procedures may damage the
centrifuge and its parts!
If you intend to use cleaning agents
or disinfection procedures not rec-
ommended by the manufacturer,
you have to make sure by consult-
ing the manufacturer, that the
planned procedure does not cause
any damages to the instrument!
Cleaning
Unplug the main power cord before
cleaning the instrument!
Clean ventilation slots if necessary.
Clean the housing, the rotor chamber, the rotor and
the accessories regularly and in case of need. This is
indicated both for reasons of hygiene and to prevent
corrosion due to contamination sticking to the instru-
ment and its accessories.
Clean them with mild agents of pH values ranging
from 6 to 8 such as dishwashing liquids.
The following cleaning agents have been approved by
KENDRO:
− Caraform
− deconex 16 NT
− Extran MA 02 neutral
− RBS neutral
For all other cleaning agents please consult
KENDRO.
After cleaning, dry the aluminum accessories with a
soft cloth or put them into a drying oven (rotor and
buckets must never be heated > 50°C / 122°F).
