Alarm code Possible cause Impact
Troubleshooting the

Leakage between positioner
and actuator
Depending on how well the
leakage can be compensated,
small control actions are
required at regular intervals.
Check the piping.
The setpoint current is
outside the permissible range,
i.e. it is < 3.8 mA or > 20.5
mA.
- Check the power source.
Alarm of the zero monitor.
The zero position has shifted
by more than 4%.
In control mode, a position
outside the valve range can
only be reached by driving to
the limit stops, as the setpoint
is limited to 0 ... 100%.
Correct the mounting.
Controlling is inactive,
because the device does not
operate in control mode or the
binary input is active.
The controller does not follow
the setpoint.
Switch to control mode or
switch off the binary input.
Positioning timed out. The
settling time needed exceeds
the configured stroke time.
None, or adaptive control is
performed (in adaptive mode).
Ensure that
the actuator is not blocked.
the supply air pressure is
adequate.
the given time limit is higher
than 1.5 times the longest
stroke time of the actuator.
If adaption cannot run
