Prerequisites:
- Remove the cam shaft (See "Removing/Replacing the complete cam shaft", page 23).
- Torque wrench M10
M10
CHC screw
Black screw 12.9 77
Disassembly:
- Remove the cam shaft (See "Removing/Replacing the complete cam shaft", page 23).
- Loosen screws (7) and (8) of the locking ring (4).
- Place the 2 screws (8) against the plate (5) so as to spread the locking ring (4).
- Remove the bevel gear (1).
Reassembly:
Note :
The exchange bevel wheels are always supplied with a roller bearing (3) mounted
on the bevel gear (1).
If the bearing (3) is not damaged, it doesn't need to be replaced. In this case, do
not remove the old bearing's outside ring (3).
- Fit the bevel gear (1) in place equipped with the inside ring (2) against the bearing rollers.
