Filter shaft
A lter sha is required if the pool is parally or enrely installed in the
ground so you can place the pump of the lter system below the pool's
water level.
- Make sure that the lter sha cannot be ooded and that ambient and rainwater can
drain away easily.
You can do so by installing a gravel layer at the boom of the sha. An oponal
immersion pump with a oat switch that is connected to a canal or drain addionally
protects your lter system from rising water inside the sha.
- Ensure sucient natural venlaon of the sha to prevent condensaon.
- Design the size of the lter sha so that you can carry out work on the lter system.
Description of the filter system
Description of the filter system
The lter balls in the lter vessel
6
serve as a dirt and oang debris lter.
Contaminated pool water passes through the sucon line
25
of the pool, through the
lter pump
10
and the lter cover
1
, from the top into the lter vessel.
When the water ows through the lter balls, dirt parcles are deposited and ltered out
of the water.
The cleaned water ows through the lter cover in the return line
27
back into the pool.
If the manometer
20
on the lter cover rises above 1 bar, the lter balls are very dirty
and must be cleaned.
