5.11 Setting the needle stroke (Fig. 30a + b)
Insert the ball pin (1) with needle shaft lever in horizontal position so that the pin Ø6
comes to rest vertically below pin Ø7. Then, for KA-ED left, turn the den ball pin
groove about 15 degrees to the right, for KA-ED right about
15 degrees to the left. The ball pin (1) has to be pushed into the hole of the needle
shaft (2) (or (3)) to the measurement of 3 -0.3 mm and clamped tight (Fig. 30b).

5.12 Loop stroke (Fig. 31)
The loop stroke is the needle's way from its left cusp point to the point where the
point of the large looper finger is placed above needle centre.
