• Hoist the PCS in a vertical manner. Do not drag or drop it on any surface.
• Suspend the hoisting when the PCS is lifted 300mm from the supporting surface to check
the connection between slings and the container. Continue hoisting only after confirming
a reliable connection.
• Place the PCS lightly and smoothly when it is in place.
• The final location should be firm, level, and well-drained. The PCS is supported by four
bottom fittings on the ground.
The PCS should be hoisted by four top corner fittings as shown in the following figure.

5.3 Foundation
5.3.1 Installation Site Selection
When selecting the installation site, consider at least the following requirements:
• The installation location should be as far as possible away from chemical plants and
salt-affected areas. If it cannot be avoided, the later inspection and maintenance cycle
should be shortened.
