• Measure and record the grid frequency. The measured data should not exceed the grid
permissible value.
• Measure the THD and check the curve if possible. The PCS may not operate stop if the
THD is serious.
• Record accurately all the measured data.
*Find those requirements in 13 Appendix.
7.4 Preparation Before Starting
• Put the disassembled protection covers back and ensure the connection is secure.
• Clean the device site. Make sure the field is clean without flammable or explosive
materials.
• Ensure that the ventilation of the installation place in normal.
• Recheck and ensure the switches of the PCS and upstream and downstream devices
meet the requirements and work normally.
7.5 Starting PCS
If all tests and measurements have been performed, and all measured data lie within the
permissible range, the device can be switched on for the first time. Proceed as follows to
start the PCS:
step 1 Disconnect the switches of the front and rear devices of the PCS, and close the internal
power switch Q3 or the external power switch Q2 according to actual on-site conditions. In
the case of the internal power supply, Q3 and Q1 are closed and Q2 is disconnected by de-
fault, as shown in the figure below. Ensure that the knob switch on the door is in the start
position.
step 2 Confirm that the AC and DC side cables are well connected, and then close the switches of
the front and rear devices of the PCS.
step 3 Measure the voltage of the to-be-connected battery to ensure that it falls within the allowable
range.
step 4 The POWER indicator on the front panel will light up if the PCS control circuit is closed nor-
mally, and the Web page is on.
