15) Remove the two bolts and oil strainer (27).
16) Remove the four bolts and water jacket cover (28) (if
necessary).
17) Remove the eight bolts securing the driveshaft
housing (29) to oil pan, then remove the oil pan (30).
18) Remove the bolt, water tube (31) and water tube
grommets (32).

Assembly is in reverse order of disassembly with special
attention to the following steps.
Oil Pan to Driveshaft Housing
• Install water tube (1) with bushings, then tighten bolt
(2).
• Install two dowel pins (3) to driveshaft housing (4).
Apply sealant to mating surfaces of driveshaft housing
and oil pan.
: Sealant 99000–31120 (SUZUKI Silicone
Seal (50 g))
• Install the oil pan (5) to driveshaft housing (4), then
tighten eight bolts securely.
