4-6 FUEL SYSTEM
FUEL FILTER REMOVAL
• Remove the fuel tank. (!4-3)
• Remove the fuel filter 1.
INSPECTION
If the fuel filter is dirty with sediment or rust, fuel will not flow
smoothly and loss in engine power may result. Replace the fuel
filter.
FUEL FILTER REMOUNTING
Remount the fuel filter in the reverse order of removal. Pay atten-
tion to the following point.
• Install the fuel filter 1 as shown.
NOTE:
Be sure to face the arrow mark on the fuel filter to the carburetor
side.
