ROCKER ARM SHAFT OUTSIDE DIAMETER INSPECTION
On the sliding surface, take two measurements, at right angle to
each other.
If the outside diameter measured is less than the standard value,
replace the shaft.
# Rocker arm shaft O.D.
Standard: 11.973 – 11.984 mm (0.4714 – 0.4718 in)
" 09900-20205: Micrometer (0 – 25 mm)
ROCKER ARM INSIDE DIAMETER INSPECTION
Measure the rocker arm inside diameter in two directions at right
angle to each other.
If the inside diameter measured exceeds the standard value, re-
place the rocker arm.
# Rocker arm I.D.
Standard: 12.000 – 12.018 mm (0.4724 – 0.4731 in)

• Locate the plate A on the cylinder head of exhaust side.
