• Apply a small quantity of SUZUKI MOLY PASTE to the
armature shaft.

• Install the brush holder as shown.
• Align the match marks on the starter motor case with the match
mark on the housing end.
• Apply a small quantity of THREAD LOCK “1342” to the starter
motor housing bolts.

• Install the starter motor. (!3-38)
STARTER RELAY INSPECTION
• Remove the side frame cover (left side). (!5-6)
• Disconnect the battery - lead wire and starter relay cover 1.
