6-24 ELECTRICAL SYSTEM
• Disconnect the starter motor lead wire 1, battery lead wire 2
and starter relay coupler 3 at the starter relay.
• Remove the starter relay.
Apply 12 volts to terminals A and B and measure for continuity
between the positive and negative terminals.
If the starter relay clicks and continuity is found, the relay is ok.

Do not apply battery voltage to the starter relay for more
than five seconds.
This may overheat and damage the relay coil.
Check the relay coil for opens, grounds and the specified re-
sistance.

PART INSPECTION
If the interlock system does not operate properly, check each
component. If any abnormality is found, replace the component
with a new one.
