CLEANING AND LUBRICATING
Clean the drive chain with kerosine. If the drive chain tends to
rust quickly, the intervals must be shortened.
'
Do not use trichloroethylene, gasoline or any similar sol-
vent.
These fluids have too great a dissolving power for this
chain and they can damage the O-rings. Use only kero-
sine to clean the drive chain.
After cleaning and drying the chain, oil it with a heavyweight
motor oil.
'
* Do not use any oil sold commercially as “drive chain
oil”. Such oil can damage the O-rings.
* The standard drive chain is a RK50MFOZ1. SUZUKI
recommends to use this standard drive chain as a re-
placement.
