• Press needle bearings into the cushon rod pivot using the
special tool.
% 09924-84521: Steering outer race installer
• Apply grease to the needle bearings.

• Press needle bearings into the cushion lever using the special
tool.
% 09913-70210: Bearing installer set
• Apply grease to the spacers and needle bearings.

GAS PRESSURE RELEASE
• Mark the drill hole with a center punch.
The rear shock unit contains high-pressure nitrogen
gas. Mishandling can cause explosion.
* Keep away from fire and heat. High gas pressure
caused by heat can cause an explosion.
* Release gas pressure before disposing.
