• Tighten the master cylinder mounting bolts
1 to the specified
torque.
• Tighten the locknut
2 to the specified torque.
• After setting the brake hose union to the stopper, tighten the
union bolt
3 to the specified torque.
# Master cylinder mounting bolt
1: 25 N·m (2.5 kgf-m)
Master cylinder push rod locknut
2: 18 N·m (1.8 kgf-m)
Brake hose union bolt
3: 23 N·m (2.3 kgf-m)

* The seal washers should be replaced with the new
ones to prevent fluid leakage.
* Bleed air from the system after reassembling the cal-
iper. (! 2-17)
