STARTER DRIVEN GEAR
STARTER DRIVEN GEAR BEARING
Install the starter driven gear bearing 1 and gear 2 onto the
crankshaft and turn the starter driven gear by hand. Inspect the
starter driven gear bearing for smooth rotation and any abnor-
mal noise. If the bearing does not turn smoothly or there is any
abnormal noise, replace it.
DISASSEMBLY
• Remove the bearing using the special tool.

• Press in the needle bearing using a vice and bearing installer.
