Inspection
Check the float valve and valve seat to see if
any damage or blocking.
Check float valve for wearing, and check valve
seat face for wear, dirt.
Caution
z In case of worn out or dirty, the float valve
and valve seat will not close tightly. The
fuel will overflow. A worn out or dirty
float valve must be replaced with a new
one to fix the problem.
Remove main jet, needle jet holder, needle jet,
slow jet and air adjustment screw.
Caution
z Be careful not to damage jets and adjust
screw.
z Before removing adjustment screw, turn it
all the way in and record the number of
circles.
z Do not turn adjust screw forcefully, or the
valve seat may be damaged.
z When airscrew is removed, please also
take out the inner washer with it.
Clean jets with Carburetor conditioner. Then
use compressed air to blow the dirt off.
