Comm parameters can be controlled by modifying the /etc/.ss_profile file.
Various operational parameters for the sysplex daemon can be controlled using parameters
in the .ss_profile file. Use the serial connection or SSH to login to the S100 in order to
change this file. Set the value of the SYSPLEX_PROGRAM environment variable by adding
or removing the # comment character in the first column. For example:
# which sysplex program shall we run
SYSPLEX_PROGRAM=sysplex
#SYSPLEX_PROGRAM=sysplexoddp
#SYSPLEX_PROGRAM=sysplexnof
#SYSPLEX_PROGRAM=sysplexoddpnof
SYSPLEX_OPTIONS=on
will run the standard (9600,8,n,1) version of the protocol while:
# which sysplex program shall we run
#SYSPLEX_PROGRAM=sysplex
SYSPLEX_PROGRAM=sysplexoddp
