Removing the
Chassis from the
Front Panel
The circled numbers in this section refer to the items in Figure 5.4.
1. If fitted, remove the battery and unscrew the antenna.
2. Use a Torx T6 screwdriver to remove the two screws

3. While holding the radio with the chassis facing down, tap the bottom
end of the radio on the workbench. Remove the chassis assembly

from the front-panel assembly

4. Remove the top seal D.
5. Inspect the main seal
E and replace it if necessary.
6. Remove the keypad
