Unconnected Calls
If a call is not connected, the way the radio behaves is explained in the following table.
Radio behavior Explanation
The system is too busy to process your talkgroup or individual call.
The radio sounds three short beeps.
The system is now available to process your talkgroup or
individualcall.
The radio sounds five beeps, followed by a
repeating double beep.
You have selected a talkgroup that does not currently exist on the
system. The display shows that service is lost, and no longer
appears.

The radio sounds two short beeps.
You have attempted to make an individual call to a radio that does
not currently exist on the system.
