To turn the priority call feature on and off:
1. Press Menu and select Priority call.
2. Scroll to On (or Off) and press Select.

When you press the emergency key your radio enters ‘emergency mode’, if your radio is programmed in thisway.
When the radio enters emergency mode, it will automatically send alerts together with your radio unit ID to the dis-
patcher. These alerts are usually sent on a designated emergency channel.
