12.1.2. DISASSEMBLING THE STEM GUARD

Carry out the procedure described in paragraph
12.1.1. “Disassembling seat”.
1. Remove the yellow cover a.
2. Use a 4-mm Allen wrench to back off the
screw underneath.
3. Remove the knob b, pulling from the
opposite side of the stem guard.

4. Remove the rubber o-ring c.
5. Back off the threaded bushing d, using a 17-
mm wrench.
6. Pull the spring and the pin out from outside
the frame.

7. Back off the screw which clamps knob e,
using a 4-mm Allen wrench.
8. Remove the knob e.
9. Pull the pin and the spring out from the
inferior the frame.
10. On both sides of the machine, back off the 2
screws f, using a medium Phillips
screwdriver.
11. Remove the stem guard, removing it from the
upper side.
To reassemble the stem guard, carry out the
above steps in reverse order.
