Annual Maintenance Procedures

4 Raise the platform.
Result: The platform fully raises, the overload
indicator light is off and there is no audible
alarm.
Result: The platform stops, the overload
indicator light is on and there is an audible
alarm. Calibrate the platform overload system.
Refer to Repair Procedure in the appropriate
Service and Repair Manual for your machine,
How to Calibrate the Platform Overload
System.
5 Lower the platform to the stowed position.
6 Push in the red Emergency Stop button to the
off position.
7 Add additional weight to the platform.

8 Pull out the platform red Emergency Stop
button to the on position.
Note: Start the engine if equipped.
9 Raise the platform.
Result: At a predetermined height the platform
stops, the overload indicator light is on and
there is an audible alarm.
Cycle the red Emergency Stop button off,
then back on.
Use the auxiliary down function to lower the
platform to the stowed position.
Result: The platform continues raising, the
overload indicator light is off and there is no
audible alarm. Calibrate the platform overload
system. Refer to Repair Procedure in the
appropriate Service and Repair Manual for
your machine, How to Calibrate the Platform
Overload System.
Tip
-over hazard. If the platform
does not stop at the
predetermined height,
immediately lower the platform.
Failure to lower the platform
could cause the machine to tip
over resulting in death or serious
injury.
Lower the platform to the stowed position.
10 Push in the red Emergency Stop button to the
off position.
11 Remove the weight from the platform.
