avoid confusion between implied multiplication and function calls.

Only certain commands are valid in a user-defined function. Entries that are made
in the Window Editor, Table Editor, Data/Matrix Editor, and Solver as well as
system prompts such as Lower Bound cannot contain any commands or a colon
