•Afteryoureplacetheprimaryharddiskdrive,solid-statedrive,orhybriddrive,reattachthecoverofthe
driveslot.
•Storeyourexternalandremovableharddiskdrivesoropticaldrivesinappropriatecontainersor
packagingwhentheyarenotbeingused.
•Beforeyouinstallanyofthefollowingdevices,touchametaltableoragroundedmetalobject.Thisaction
reducesanystaticelectricityfromyourbody.Thestaticelectricitycoulddamagethedevice.

•Rememberyourpasswords.Ifyouforgetasupervisororharddiskpassword,Lenovowillnotresetit,and
youmighthavetoreplaceyoursystemboard,harddiskdrive,solid-statedrive,orhybriddrive.
Takingcareofthefingerprintreader
Thefollowingactionscoulddamagethefingerprintreaderorcauseitnottoworkproperly:
•Scratchingthesurfaceofthefingerprintreaderwithahard,pointedobject.
•Scrapingthesurfaceofthefingerprintreaderwithyourfingernailoranythinghard.
•Usingortouchingthefingerprintreaderwithadirtyfinger.
Ifyounoticeanyofthefollowingconditions,gentlycleanthesurfaceofthefingerprintreaderwithadry,
soft,lint-freecloth:
•Thesurfaceofthefingerprintreaderisdirtyorstained.
•Thesurfaceofthefingerprintreaderiswet.
•Thefingerprintreaderoftenfailstoenrollorauthenticateyourfingerprint.

1.Prepareamixtureofagentlekitchen-usedetergent(onethatdoesnotcontainabrasivepowderor
strongchemicalssuchasacidoralkaline).Use5partswaterto1partdetergent.
2.Absorbthediluteddetergentintoasponge.
