Youcanchangethedisplaysettings,suchasthedisplayresolution,fontsize,andsoon.
Tochangethedisplaysettings,dothefollowing:
1.OpenControlPanelandclickAppearanceandPersonalization.
2.ClickDisplayforfurtherconfiguration.
3.ClickApply.Thechangewilltakeeffectafteryoulogoff.

Usinganexternalmonitor
Note:Whenyouconnectanexternalmonitor,avideointerfacecablewithaferritecoreisrequired.
Yourcomputercansupportamaximumvideoresolutionofupto1920x1080(withanexternalmonitor
connectedtotheHDMIconnector),providedthattheexternalmonitoralsosupportsthatresolution.For
moreinformationabouttheexternalmonitor,refertothemanualsprovidedwiththeexternalmonitor.
Youcansetanyresolutionforeitherthecomputerdisplayortheexternalmonitor.Whenyouusebothatthe
sametime,theresolutionofbothisthesame.Ifyousetahigherresolutionforthecomputerdisplay,you
canseeonlypartofthescreenatatime.YoucanseeotherpartsbymovingtheimagewiththeTrackPoint
pointingdeviceoranotherpointingdevice.
Youcanmovethedisplayoutputtothecomputerdisplay,theexternalmonitor,orbothintheDisplay
Settingswindow.
Connectinganexternalmonitor
Toconnectanexternalmonitor,dothefollowing:
1.ConnecttheexternalmonitortotheHDMIconnectorofyourcomputer.
2.Connecttheexternalmonitortoanelectricaloutlet.
3.Turnontheexternalmonitor.
4.ChangethedisplayoutputlocationbypressingF7.Thisenablesyoutoswitchbetweenviewingoutput
ontheexternalmonitor,thecomputermonitor,andbothmonitors.
Note:Ifyourcomputercannotdetecttheexternalmonitor,right-clickonthedesktop,thenselectScreen
resolution.ClicktheDetectbutton.

Tosettheexternalmonitortype,dothefollowing:
1.Connecttheexternalmonitortoyourcomputer,andthenconnectthemonitortoanelectricaloutlet.
