Toconfigurethemicrophoneforoptimalsoundrecording,usetheRealtekHDAudioManagerprogram.To
starttheprogram,gotoControlPanelandclickHardwareandSound➙RealtekHDAudioManager.
Usingthecamera
Ifyourcomputerhasanintegratedcamera,youcanusethecameratopreviewyourvideoimageand
takeasnapshotofyourcurrentimage.
Tostartthecamera,dothefollowing:
•ForWindows7:OpentheCommunicationsUtilityprogram.
•ForWindows8andWindows8.1:ClickCamerafromtheStartscreen.
Whenthecameraisstarted,thegreencamera-in-useindicatorturnson.
Youalsocanusetheintegratedcamerawithotherprogramsthatprovidefeaturessuchasphotographing,
videocapturing,andvideoconferencing.Tousethecamerawithotherprograms,openoneoftheprograms
andstartthephotographing,videocapturing,orvideoconferencingfunction.Then,thecamerawillstart
automaticallyandthegreencamera-in-useindicatorwillturnon.Formoreinformationaboutusingthe
camerawithaprogram,refertothehelpinformationsystemoftheprogram.
Configuringcamerasettings
Youcanconfigurethecamerasettingstomeetyourneeds,suchasadjustingthequalityofthevideooutput.
Toconfigurethecamerasettings,dothefollowing:
•ForWindows8orWindows8.1,dooneofthefollowing:
–Configurethecamerasettingsdirectlyfromtheprogramthatisusingthecamera.Formoreinformation,
seethehelpinformationsystemoftheprogram.
–OpentheLenovoSettingsprogram.ThenclickCamera.Followtheinstructionsonthescreento
configurethecamerasettingsasdesired.
•ForWindows7:StarttheCommunicationsUtilityprogramandconfigurethecamerasettingsasdesired.
Usingaflashmediacard
Yourcomputerhasamediacardreaderslot,itsupportsthefollowingcards:
•MultiMediaCard(MMC)modules
•SecureDigitaleXtended-Capacity(SDXC)cards
•SecureDigital(SD)cards
•SecureDigitalHigh-Capacity(SDHC)cards
Note:YourcomputerdoesnotsupporttheCPRMfeaturefortheSDcard.
