Tocongurethemicrophoneforoptimizedsoundrecording,usetheRealtekHDAudioManagerprogram.To
starttheprogram,ClickStart➙ControlPanel➙HardwareandSound➙RealtekHDAudioManager.
Usingtheintegratedcamera
Ifyourcomputerhasanintegratedcamera,whenyoupressFn+F6toopentheCommunicationssettings
window,thecamerawillbelaunchedandthegreencamera-in-useindicatorwillturnonautomatically.In
theCommunicationssettingswindow,youcanpreviewyourvideoimageandtakeasnapshotofyour
currentimage.
Youalsocanusetheintegratedcamerawithotherprogramsthatprovidefeaturessuchasphotographing,
videocapturing,andvideoconferencing.Tousetheintegratedcamerawithotherprograms,openoneofthe
programsandstartthephotographing,videocapturing,orvideoconferencingfunction.Then,thecamera
willstartautomaticallyandthegreencamera-in-useindicatorwillturnon.Formoreinformationaboutusing
thecamerawithaprogram,refertothedocumentationthatcamewiththeprogram.
IfyoudonotwantthecameratobelaunchedautomaticallywhenyoupressFn+F6orwhenyouusea
program,pressFn+F6toopentheCommunicationssettingswindowandclicktheHidemyvideoimage
buttontodisablethecamera.
