permission.

Usingpasswords
Byusingpasswords,youcanhelppreventyourcomputerfrombeingusedbyothers.Onceyouseta
password,apromptisdisplayedonthescreeneachtimeyouturnonthecomputer.Enteryourpasswordat
theprompt.Youcannotusethecomputerunlessyoutypethecorrectpassword.
Passwordsandsleepmode
IfyouhavesetpasswordsandyouputyourcomputerintosleepmodebypressingFn+F4,youwillbe
promptedtoenterthepasswordwhenresumingoperation.
Ifanyharddiskdriveorthesolidstatedrivehasaharddiskpassword,itisunlockedautomaticallywhen
youresumeoperation.
Note:IfaWindowspasswordhasbeenset,youwillbepromptedtoenterit.
Typingpasswords
Ifthisiconisdisplayed,typeapower-onpasswordorasupervisorpassword.
Ifthisiconisdisplayed,typeauserharddiskpassword.Ifyouwanttotypeamasterharddisk
password,dothefollowing:
