4.11.1.3.2.2 Side Menu
This chapter describes the functions of the side menu settings which can be adjusted in the different mea-
surement screens.

Description
Short press to open the Setting Menu which includes all Setting
Long press to unfold the Measurement Screen specific Side Menu.
To reduce the Side Menu, press the fifth button or touch
Increase/Decrease Selected Parameter
Sets the Measurement Range to Automatic or manual.
Go through different panel options
Analog low pass filter for photodiode sensors on / off (toggling)
Sets the number of displayed digits. (rotating)
Magnification
Numerical Dispaly: Enlarges display by using the space for the sup-
plementary displays (setting will be stored)
Analog Needle: Zooms in/out the needle gauge by factor 5
Thermal Position Sensor: Zooms in/out the target for position
sensors by factor 6
Selectable units for photodiode power sensors and thermal
sensors for derived (main) and basic units and Irradiance units for
photodiode sensors
Selectable units for pyroelectric energy sensors,
(„W“ is currently not displayed, but average Power can be selec-
ted in the dropdown displays. --> P
AVG
= Energy x Frequency)
Fluence units for pyroelectric energy sensors
Selectable units for photometric sensors (not yet offered in
Thorlabs portfolio)
