Lock System
The lock menu allows a password to be entered so that a number of key settings can be locked,
selected programmes can be blocked and parental controls can be imposed.
When lock system is on, Auto Tuning, DTV Manual Tuning and ATV Manual Tuning can not be accessed from the
CHANNEL menu without entering the password. All other menu options are not affected.
The TileVision
®
default four digit password is 0000.
Before adjustment of the settings on the Lock Menu can be undertaken, the Lock Menu screen must
be UNLOCKED first by entering the password.
To UNLOCK the Lock Menu screen.
1 Press the MENU button.
2 Press the 34 buttons to display the LOCK menu.
3 Press the 56 buttons to highlight the LOCK SYSTEM option.
4 Press the OK button to display the ENTER PASSWORD dialogue.
5 Enter the correct four digit code using the number pad on the remote control.
With the correct code entered the display will return to the LOCK menu.
1 UNLOCK the LOCK MENU screen, see above.
2 Press the OK button to switch the setting between ON or OFF.
3 Press the MENU button to exit the LOCK menu.
To Set The Lock System ON or OFF
Parental Guidance
The parental guidance option allows any age from 4 to 18 to be select for all programmes. Parental guidance is
set as follows:
1 UNLOCK the LOCK MENU screen, see above.
2 Press the 56 buttons to highlight the PARENTAL GUIDANCE menu.
3 Press the OK button to display the PARENTAL GUIDANCE menu.
4 Press the 56 buttons to select the required age restriction.
5 Press the MENU button to return from the PARENTAL GUIDANCE menu.
