④ Remove the detector from the flow cell. ⋅⋅⋅⋅⋅⋅ Withdraw the detector vertically from the flow cell
to remove the Detector.
⑤ Clean the tip of the detector. ⋅⋅⋅⋅⋅⋅ Clean the tip of the detector with the washing solution prepared
at step ①, and then rinse it with plenty of city water.

⑥ Inspect the sensing electrode (once a year). ⋅⋅⋅⋅⋅⋅ Holding the detector vertically, loosen the
detector cap on the tip of the detector and remove it paying attention not to spill the beads in the
cap. Then, inspect the sensing electrode.

⑦ Perform maintenance. ⋅
[In the case of model: CLR-21-A]
If the sensing electrode is found worn out or unusual, turn it counterclockwise and remove it. Then
install a new one. At this time, apply a little bit of electrically conductive grease to the screw
section of the new sensing electrode.
[In the case of CLV Series]
If the sensing electrode is found worn out or unusual, turn the tip of the sensing electrode
counterclockwise and remove it. Then install a new one. If you do not replace the electrode, grind,
in a circular motion, the surface of the electrode with grade 600 abrasive paper with a few drops of
water poured on it. Then, in the same manner, grind the surface of the electrode smoothly with
abrasive paper of grade 1200 or so.
