5.1 Measurement Function
5.1.1 Measurement Parameters and Notations
R：resistance V: DC voltage
Z：impedance X：reactance
C：capacitance L：inductance
Q：quality factor ：phase angle (deg degree)
r: phase angle (rad radian)
5.1.2 Measurement Groups
TH2523 has 11 measurement groups: R, R-V , V , R-Q , L-Q , L-R , R-X , C-D, Z-d,
Z-r ,R-C.
5.1.3 Mathematical Operations
Mathematical operations on TH2523 are operations for absolute value deviation (ΔABS) and
percentage deviation (Δ%) between a measurement value and a programmable nominal value.
5.1.4 Range
Double-range bin for resistance and DC voltage, Mode: AUTO, MANU (HOLD, UP, DOWN)
5.1.5 Trigger
Internal, manual, external, bus
Internal: Continuously test a DUT and then output and display the result.
Manual: Press the “TRIGGER” button on the panel, the instrument will test a DUT
once and display the result. This mode keeps in waiting mode when it is
not used.
External: Test a DUT once and display the result when the instrument receives an
external “start up” signal from the footswitch of HANDLER interface or
TRIGGER interface on the rear panel.
