INTRODUCTION
Thank you for purchasing the TOPCON TRC-NW400 NON-MYDRIATIC RETINAL CAMERA.
INTENDED USE / INDICATIONS FOR USE
The TRC-NW400 intended for use in capturing images of the retina and the anterior segment of the
eye and presenting the data to the eye care professional, without the use of a mydriatic.
FEATURES
This instrument is a special photographic device used to observe, photograph and record the image
of the fundus and anterior segment and present an electronic image for diagnosis.
The built-in digital camera will take a picture of the fundus and anterior segment.
After photographing, the images of the fundus and anterior segment can be recorded on the follow-
ing device:
•The commercial personal computer connected to this instrument.
The observed/photographed images are displayed on the built-in control panel with touch panel.
PURPOSE OF THIS MANUAL
This manual outlines the TRC-NW400 NON-MYDRIATIC RETINAL CAMERA, including operating
procedures, troubleshooting, maintenance and cleaning.
Before using the instrument, carefully read the "GENERAL SAFETY INFORMATION" to familiarize
yourself with the features of the TOPCON TRC-NW400 NON-MYDRIATIC RETINAL CAMERA and
to ensure that you operate it efficiently and safely.
Always keep this Instruction Manual at hand.
•This User Manual is made on an assumption that the user already has knowledge of the personal
computer (PC) and Microsoft Windows operating systems. This User Manual does not describe
details on how to handle common operation procedures of the PC and Microsoft Windows operat-
ing systems.
•For handling a computer and operating Microsoft Windows, refer to the user manual attached to
each of them.
•If you have made a mistake in handling a computer or operating Microsoft Windows and this soft-
ware, the files contained by the computer and Microsoft Windows or this software may be
destroyed.
