Inanemergency,themachinecanbemovedforwardby
actuatingthebypassvalveinthevariable-displacement
hydraulicpumpandpushingortowingthemachine.
Important:Donotpushortowthemachinefasterthan3
to4.8km/h(2to3mph),becauseinternal-transmission
damagemayoccur.Thebypassvalvesmustbeopen
wheneverthemachineispushedortowed.
1.Raisetheseatandlocatethebypassvalves,whichare
locatedbelowthefrontofthefueltank(Figure30).

2.Rotateeachvalve3turnscounter-clockwisetoopen
andallowoiltobypassinternally.
Note:Donotopenmorethan3turns.Becauseuid
isbypassed,themachinecanbeslowlymovedwithout
damagingthetransmission.
3.Closethebypassvalvesbeforestartingtheengine.
4.Torqueto70N∙m(52ft-lb)toclosethevalve.
Important:Ifyoumustpushortowthemachinein
reverse,bypassthecheckvalveinthe4-wheeldrive
manifold.Tobypassthecheckvalve,connectahose
assemblythatconsistsofahose(PartNo.95-8843),2
couplerttings(No.95-0985),and2hydraulicttings
(No.340-77)tothereverse-traction,pressure-testport,
locatedonthehydrostat,andtotheportlocatedbetween
portsM8andP2onthereartractionmanifold,located
behindthefronttire.
LocatingtheJackingPoints
Therearejackingpointslocatedatthefrontandrearofthe
machine.
WARNING
Alwaysusejackstands.Donotrelyonajackor
hoisttoholdthemachine.
Mechanicalorhydraulicjacksmayfailtosupport
themachineandcauseaseriousinjury.

downandoutwardfromthemachine.
