FrontMowerDeck
Theheightofcutisadjustablefrom25to127mm(1to5
inches)in13mm(1/2inch)increments.Toadjusttheheight
ofcutonthefrontmowerdeck,positionthecaster-wheel
axlesintheupperorlowerholesofthecasterforks,addor
removeanequalnumberofspacersfromthecasterforks,and
securetherearchaintothedesiredhole.
1.Starttheengineandraisethemowerdeckstochange
heightofcut.
2.Shutofftheengineandremovethekeyafterthemower
deckisraised.
3.Positionthecaster-wheelaxlesinthesameholesinall
casterforks.

Note:Whenoperatingin64mm(2-1/2inch)height
ofcutorhigher,installtheaxleboltinthelower
caster-forkholetopreventgrassbuildupbetweenthe
wheelandthefork.Whenoperatingatheightsofcuts
lowerthan64mm(2-1/2inches)andgrassbuildupis
detected,reversethemachinesdirectiontopullany
clippingsawayfromthewheel/forkarea.
4.Removethetensioningcapfromthespindleshaftand
slidethespindleoutofthecasterarm(Figure14).
5.Installthe2shimsontothespindleshaftastheywere
originallyinstalled.
Note:Theseshimsrequirealevelacrosstheentire
widthofthemowerdecks.Slidetheappropriate
numberof13mm(1/2inch)spacers(refertothechart
below)ontothespindleshafttoattainthedesired
heightofcut;thenslidethewasherontotheshaft.
