Changethehydraulicuidafterevery800operatinghours,
innormalconditions.Iftheuidbecomescontaminated,
contactyourlocalTorodistributorbecausethesystemmust
beushed.Contaminateduidlooksmilkyorblackwhen
comparedtocleanoil.
1.Positionthemachineonalevelsurface,lowerthe
mowerdecks,shutofftheengine,andremovethekey.
2.Removethedrainplugfromthebottom,frontofthe
reservoirandletthehydraulicuidowintoalarge
drainpan.
3.Installandtightentheplugwhenthehydraulicuid
stopsdraining.
4.Fillthereservoir(Figure73)withhydraulicuid;refer
toCheckingtheHydraulicFluid(page52).
Important:Useonlythehydraulicuids
specied.Otheruidscouldcausesystem
damage.

5.Installthereservoircap,starttheengine,anduseall
ofthehydrauliccontrolstodistributehydraulicuid
throughoutthesystem.
6.Checkforleaks;thenshutofftheengine.
7.Checktheuidlevelandaddenoughtoraiselevelthe
leveltotheFullmarkonthedipstick.
