higherpositionwhenoperatingatheightsofcutlowerthan
64mm(2-1/2inches).
Note:Whentheskidsbecomeworn,youcanswitchthemto
theoppositesidesofthemowerbyippingthemover.This
allowsyoutousetheskidslongerbeforereplacingthem.
Adjusttheskids(Figure24).
Important:Torquethescrewatthefrontofeachskidto
9to11N∙m(80to100in-lb).

2.Checkandadjustthefrontandreartirepressuresto
172to207kPa(25to30psi).
3.Checkandadjustallofcastertirepressuresto345kPa
(50psi).
4.Checkthechargeandcounterbalancepressureswith
theengineatHIGHIDLE,usinghydraulic-testports.
Note:Adjustthecounterbalanceto2,241kPa(325
psi).
5.Checkforbentblades;refertoCheckingforaBent

6.Cutgrassinatestareatodetermineifallmowerdecks

cutto7.6to10.1cm(3to4inches);refertoAdjusting
theHeightofCut(page23).
9.Lowerthemowerdecksontoaatsurfaceandremove
thecoversfromthetopofthemowerdecks.
10.Loosentheangenut,securingtheidlerpulley,to
releasethebelttensiononeachmowerdeck.
